21st Century Group Portrait

The sculptural collage 21st Century Group Portrait was created live onsite at the New York Design Center in support of ALS research for artist Brian Fender’s Artist’s Lend Support non-profit charity pop-up gallery event.  The piece incorporates 60 individual 3d face scans from attendees of the exhibit’s opening event.  The piece was auctioned off in support of the charity’s efforts to further ALS research.  Scanning technology & face captures were provided onsite by Fuel3d.  The final piece was 3d printed by Voxeljet & unveiled at the 3D Printshow in NYC.
